Good Worths Partners Limited (“GWPL”, “we”, “us”), RC 1180431, of 3F2/3F3 Third Floor, Threshold Business Suite, Plot 976 Olusegun Obasanjo Way, Wuye District, Abuja, Nigeria, is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. We process personal data in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act (NDPA) 2023 and the regulations and guidance of the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC).
1. Personal data we collect
- Enquiry, consultation and training nomination forms: name, email, phone number, organisation, the service you are interested in, and your message. For nominations, the names and emails of the people you nominate.
- Blog comments: your name and comment (published) and your email address (never published).
- Newsletter: your email address and a record of your consent.
- Technical data: IP address and browser details, used for security, spam prevention and, only if you consent, website analytics.
We do not collect special-category data (such as health or biometric data) through this website, and we do not ask you to upload photographs.
2. Why we use it and our lawful basis
- To respond to your enquiry and provide the services you request — performance of a contract or steps before entering one.
- To send our newsletter — your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- To keep the website and forms secure and free of spam — our legitimate interests.
- To understand how the website is used (analytics) — your consent through the cookie banner.
- To meet legal and regulatory obligations — legal obligation.
We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.
3. Children
This website is intended for adults. Every form asks you to confirm that you are 18 years or older, or that you have the consent of a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children without that consent. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
4. Photographs and images
Images on this website are used to illustrate our services and programmes. Photographs of identifiable people are only published where the people shown have agreed, or where we have another lawful basis. We do not use facial-recognition or any biometric processing on images. If you appear in an image on this website and would like it removed, email us and we will remove it promptly.
5. Newsletter and unsubscribing
Every newsletter email contains a personal unsubscribe link. Clicking it stops further emails immediately. You can also ask us to unsubscribe you at any time by email.
6. Third parties we use
- Google reCAPTCHA protects our forms from spam. When you use a form, Google receives technical data such as your IP address, under Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms.
- Google Analytics and other analytics tools — only if you accept analytics cookies. Form fields are masked so that session-recording tools cannot capture what you type.
- Google Maps and YouTube embeds — only load if you allow third-party content cookies.
- WhatsApp — only if you choose to chat with us there.
- Our website hosting and email providers, who process data on our behalf under contract.
Our website fonts and design libraries are hosted on our own server, so simply visiting the website does not send your IP address to Google Fonts or other font and script services.
7. International transfers
GWPL has offices in Nigeria and India, and some of our service providers are located outside Nigeria. Where personal data is transferred outside Nigeria, we do so only as permitted by the NDPA 2023, with appropriate safeguards in place.
8. How long we keep data
Enquiries and nominations are kept for up to 24 months after our last contact, unless a longer period is needed for a contract or the law. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Anonymised cookie-consent records are kept to demonstrate compliance.
9. Security
We protect personal data with appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls on our admin system, and spam and abuse protection on all forms.
10. Your rights
Under the NDPA you have the right to be informed; to access your personal data; to correct it; to have it deleted; to restrict or object to processing; to data portability; and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email info@goodworthspartners.com. We will respond within the time required by law.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC).
11. Cookies
Cookies are small files stored on your device. We ask for your consent before setting any cookie that is not strictly necessary, and you can change your choice at any time using “Cookie Settings” at the bottom of every page.
- Strictly necessary — keep the website secure and working: session and form-security cookies, spam protection (Google reCAPTCHA) and the cookie that remembers your consent choice. These cannot be switched off.
- Analytics (optional) — help us understand how the website is used, for example Google Analytics. Only set if you accept analytics cookies.
- Third-party content & marketing (optional) — embedded Google Maps and YouTube videos and similar services, which may set their own cookies. These only load if you allow them.
Your consent choice is kept for up to 6 months, after which we will ask again.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version is always on this page.
